A Strong Foundation: The Apprentice Program
Every expert starts somewhere, and for many, that journey begins as an apprentice. Our apprenticeship program offers a structured pathway into the industry, providing hands-on experience in areas such as electrical engineering, mechanical systems, and critical power solutions. Apprentices work alongside experienced technicians from day one, assisting in real-world installations, system diagnostics, and preventive maintenance projects.
Currently, 12 apprentices are undertaking structured training. The program covers both foundational and advanced technical skills, including UPS maintenance, power distribution systems, and energy efficiency strategies. Our approach ensures apprentices develop not only technical expertise but also problem-solving capabilities, teamwork, and leadership skills—essential attributes for long-term career success.

One of our key successes is the ability to promote from within. Many of our senior leaders began their careers as apprentices, building their expertise over years of hands-on experience and professional development.
Currently, 6 of our workforce have advanced from apprenticeship into senior roles. Career progression at EPT is mapped out clearly, with structured steps leading from apprentice to technician, senior technician, and specialist roles, up to project manager and leadership positions.
